Tanacetum vulgare

Our first harvest of tansy. What a beautiful perennial herb with bright yellow flowers known as golden buttons. A new staple for our herb gardens. Although, throughout history Tansy was used in teas and food this herb is now classified as toxic to humans. One of its benefits is to deter moths, ants, flies and other nuisances.

You will receive one muslin bag filled with apx 15 g of the dried tansy flowers and leaves. Each bag is placed in a plastic zipped bag to keep freshness in. Place your tansy herb in a chest full of sweaters or a closet to keep unwanted moths away. The fragrance is reminiscent of camphor with hints of rosemary.
