Rio returned north with the promise of spring in his heart. His melodic song heralded the changing season, but the ominous grey skies carried a whispered secret – snow was imminent. With a wish he had waited, Rio pondered the age-old adage: doesn’t the early bird catch the worm? As flakes gently fell, he embraced the cold reality, realizing that sometimes even the most optimistic bird can’t escape the capricious nature of the weather, learning that patience might have been the key to a warmer welcome for both him and the elusive worm.
