Webb’s Candies, a cherished name in the world of confectionery, approached our studio to redesign its existing website. Our collaboration with Webb’s Candies began in 2007, encompassing both their Candy Shop and Hotel. Over the years, as technology and trends evolved, so did the needs of Webb’s Candies. This project marks the third rendition of their site, reflecting our ongoing commitment to keeping their digital presence as delightful as their products.
The Latest Redesign
In our most recent collaboration, the focus was on enhancing the user experience and updating the technology to meet current standards. The new site features:
- Updated Shopping Cart: We integrated an advanced shopping cart system equipped with all the latest functionalities, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for Webb’s customers.
- Mobile-Friendly Design: Recognizing the importance of mobile accessibility, we revamped the site to be fully responsive. Now, customers can easily browse and shop for their favorite treats on any device.
- Elegant Aesthetics: The design is simple and clean, with a focus on velvety chocolate browns and gold accents that mirror Webb’s iconic packaging. This visual update not only enhances the site’s appeal but also reinforces the brand’s luxurious feel.
Evolution of the Design
- 2007: Our initial project with Webb’s involved creating a website for their Candy Shop and Hotel. This was a foundational step in establishing their online presence.
- 2010: It was time for a redesign, and Webb’s wanted a more chocolaty look. We implemented a dark brown and turquoise color theme and used their candy as a header background. This version also introduced a content management system, enabling the family to update information independently.
