  • 1/2 cup Baby Oil
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbls Pumpkin Pie Spice (or a few shakes ;))

Version Two Almond Spearmint Body Scrub

  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Melted Coconut Oil
  • Several drops Almond Extract
  • handful Fresh Spearmint (Finely Chopped)

Months ago, I promised a dear friend that I would make her some of my homemade body scrub. Life has a way of getting busy, and somehow, the time slipped by. But recently, with her birthday approaching, I knew it was the perfect moment to finally deliver on that promise.

I’m actually glad I waited because the timing allowed me to incorporate some of the fresh herbs from my garden, which added an extra special touch. I gathered a mix of lavender, mint, and rosemary, knowing that their soothing and invigorating properties would elevate the scrub.

As I whipped up the scrub, blending sugar, coconut oil, and the fragrant herbs, it felt like I was bottling up a little piece of summer. The scent was heavenly—a combination of calming lavender, refreshing mint, and earthy rosemary. It’s amazing how something so simple can feel so luxurious when it’s made with care.

When I finally presented it to her, she was thrilled. There’s something truly rewarding about giving a handmade gift, especially one that’s been infused with ingredients from your own garden. It felt like more than just a body scrub—it was a little piece of nature and a labor of love, perfect for celebrating a friend’s special day.
