Meggy’s is all relaxed tonight, tucked into her favorite spot in front of our twinkling Christmas tree. Our yellow lab has claimed the leather chair as if it were crafted just for her.
Meanwhile, the studio has been a whole different world today—papers fluttering, printers humming, and me hopping from project to project as the final wave of Christmas orders and Cyber Week sales rolled in. It’s the beautiful kind of chaos, the kind that reminds me how grateful I am for every client who fills this season with purpose and joy.
Soon, though… soon the rush will settle. The last packages will be tied up in velvet ribbon, the studio lights will dim, and I’ll slip into that soft stretch between Christmas and New Year when time slows down.
And that’s when you’ll find me—snuggled up next to Meggy’s, a warm mug of glögg in hand, the scent of cloves and citrus drifting through the house, and a plate of Christmas cookies within reach.
A little quiet, a little magic, and a whole lot of cozy—just the way this season was meant to be.
