Gladiolus Enchantment – A Tribute to August’s Flower

Every flower tells a story, and for August, that story belongs to the gladiolus. Known for its striking beauty and tall, graceful stems, the gladiolus symbolizes strength of character, faithfulness, and honor. It’s a bloom that speaks to resilience and integrity—qualities that feel timeless and universal.

The Gladiolus Enchantment Tile was inspired by a photograph taken from my own garden and digitally transformed into part of the Enchantment Collection. This collection celebrates the flowers of each month, offering a way to mark milestones and honor personal connections through art. While the gladiolus tile was once available on Etsy, it has since been retired.

Each tile was carefully produced on high-quality porcelain, measuring 2.3″ by 3.25″, with a sisal loop for easy hanging. The finish gives the pieces a softly aged, antique look—making them both decorative and meaningful. Many customers chose to hang their Enchantment tiles individually, while others created walls of memories, weaving together all twelve months into a symbolic tapestry.

The gladiolus tile, in particular, was cherished as a thoughtful birthday gift for August celebrations or as a special keepsake for gardeners who connect deeply with the flower’s message. It serves as both a decorative accent and a personal reminder of resilience, faith, and honor.
