Viking Trader Gifts, a beloved local gift shop specializing in Scandinavian-inspired products, launched a new e-commerce website to better serve customers year-round. The shop, with locations in Bemus Point and the Chautauqua Institution, wanted a platform that reflected its Nordic heritage while providing a simple, secure way for shoppers to browse and purchase gifts online.
I designed and developed the new site using Joomla, integrating a shopping cart system with PayPal checkout for seamless transactions. The website highlights the store’s charming selection of Scandinavian décor, gifts, and seasonal items, bringing the cozy spirit of Viking Trader to customers near and far.
